We have a new home!
After almost a year of searching for a new space, we met local business owners Maninder Tennessey and Tarie Tennessey of Atlas Pots, who offered to lease us space they were not using in their premises.
After a flurry of packing, cleaning, shelf building and space planning, Shelter to Home left our temporary home at Highlands United Church and moved into our new space on October 7, with the expert help of Edgemont Moving, who donated their services to us for that day.
The new space will be about double the area we’ve operated out of for the last 12 years, and we are thrilled to have it.
We are looking forward to working out of our new space to provide our clients with enough to make a comfortable basic home from the donations we receive from our generous community.
With grateful thanks to:
Our new landlords Maninder Tennessey and Tarie Tennessey of Atlas Pots.
Edgemont Moving and Storage for their donation of truck, movers and time on October 7.
Mr.Tabrizy of Kouchini Co-Ordinates Ltd. for the donation of shelving.
Highlands United Church who provided a temporary home for the last year.
All who’ve supported and encouraged us over the last year.
